In The Beginning Poem by Joyce Hemsley

In The Beginning

Rating: 5.0

Before the birth of earth, sea and sky,
before time existed in a vacuum of space
before rivers and trees took their place
who created our God's dear face?
A mystery we cannot deny.

From this day on, it is plain to see
we leave the answer to powers that be.
If science can't fathom it, neither can we
there maybe no answer for eternity.
We must 'ponder' until we die.

Before the earth, the sea and the sky,
before the 'Big Bang' stated its case,
and animals and humans took their place,
who created the word of 'God'...
The Holy God, in heaven on high?
