In the Clouds

& I know I shouldn't depend on someone else for my happiness
But it's just so easy.
Your smile, your kisses, your laugh
They all make life just a little brighter.

& I wish that I could actually tell you
Instead of dreaming about what we could be
I know I'm not perfect
But I could try,
If you'd give me a chance.

I know how it feels to be hurt
& I swear I won't do that
You deserve so much more than I could EVER give
But at least let me try.
