In The Eyes Of The Day Poem by Leom Kolmnela

In The Eyes Of The Day

In the eyes of the day, the free verse flows.
So beautifully, that verse for you sings.
High praises to you, it bestows.
For you it dances, for you it clings.

From a punctured tongue flow misleads.
From a bitter mouth run out curses.
From the ill pride sprout weeds.
A wicked heart, the betrayal braces.

In the embroidered verse shining bright,
the curse and the betrayal ignoring,
in a free verse and over the white light,
gracefully, as always, you are singing.

In your beautiful divinity,
even the wild-fowls kneel before grace.
Each verse, in rhyme, sings softly,
with the sound of a true love apace.

In passing, curiously look the people,
to see, where my star will shine.
Do not bother, I tell them, we are a couple;
I am the first, love is next in line.
