In The Hills Poem by Robert Eckstein

In The Hills

Rating: 5.0

Old Zeke and Earl were in the hills
As lost as they could be,
And all around them were more hills
As far as they could see.

They sat down on a tree stump then
And tried real hard to think;
Then each got out his pocket flask
And had a little drink.

At last, Earl picked up his old map
'Zeke, We'll be home in a bit.
'You see that mountain over there?
'We're right on top of it! '

Very funny. I really have been lost in the hills, though, and it wasn't funny then.
