In The Lonesome Night Poem by Luo Zhihai

In The Lonesome Night

★ In The Lonesome Night

☆ Poetry by Kewayne Wadley

Sitting at the train station
Waiting to find my ladies love
The winds change direction
Searching for a way to find what was lost
You know it’s a shame
A damn shame what we've become
Waiting on that train that's soon to stop
The lights that lay ahead
The different sounds
The hellos that await in a different city
The winds pause in mid drift
I thought I seen my ladies essence
There in the light just before it flickered
The winds grown lonesome
Curious to why the butterflies don't flutter at night
Too bad lonesome night
Too bad
One day I'll buy you some to accompany your 'loneness
One day I'll make you smile
Brighter than that light that shones the way in the distance
As for now we have to part
Too bad lonesome night
Too bad
