In the moment that I felt your warm embrace,
I knew that this was it,
and for the first time in my life,
all the peices seem to fit.
I'm not really sure when this feeling started,
but I hope it doesn't end,
for the lord knows that if it does I may never mend.
I've waited my whole life for this moment and now that it is here,
my heart is filled with love,
but my mind with fear.
I can't help but wonder,
what if you don't feel the same,
what if you don't plan to stay,
maybe I'm to blame.
Maybe I'm hoping for too much,
my expectations are way to high.
God I pray that I am wrong, for if not, I'm sure to die.
I don't want to lose you, so please tell me it's okay.
Tell me that you love me and that you plan to stay.
