In The Morning Sunshine Poem by Francis Duggan

In The Morning Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

In the morning sunshine the magpie does sing
His gift of song to him is a natural thing
And in the hedge house sparrows birds without a song
To the pipe of the magpie are chirping along
The kangaroos rest in the shade of the trees
And gum leaves are stirring in the freshening breeze
This has the makings of a beautiful day
Such splendid weather for late Autumn and May
The beauty of Nature never ceases to inspire
And of singing her praises could one ever tire
The beauty of Nature is for all to enjoy
And I've always loved Nature since I was a boy
A beautiful morning of around 20 degrees
And birds chirp and sing on the bushes and trees.
