In The Quietness Of The Moment Poem by Almedia Knight-Oliver

In The Quietness Of The Moment

Rating: 5.0

In my thoughts –mind in stress
In my thoughts - self seeks rest

Heart - seeks solace
Heart - receives brief succor

I and me -shared insight
I and myself –anew a few

Soul, I, partner, and
'complete themselves in one another'

[Written during a time of distress that loaned me a quiet moment before taking it back]

So high is your philosophical realisazation! So simply you have established 1) you- the smaller entity entangled by so many limitations and 2) You- The alter igo, the self of all selves, the infinite life-force ever-anew. And the base is a 'Moment'- where meets the past-present-future.1st 'I' will be no more on earth after a time-limit, but 2nd ' I ' have no beginning and ending according to Indian philosophy. Unique your writing skill. Where feeling stand on a concrete base, the writing will be so sharp and precise perhaps. WRITE MORE POET.... LIVE LONG TO WRITE........ Regards, 10++ pranab

Hi Almedia - An introspective poem which says so much in four doublets of verbal conciseness. Our MIND evokes both stress and rest - our HEART recieves succor from our EGO which always shows insight. Mind - heart - soul - spirit make us what we are. Working symbiotically they can restore our wholeness and bring us the solace we all seek - BEAUTIFUL. Thanks for sharing - Love thru Poetry - JOHN.

‘Soul and I partnered… /all feel whole.’ ~ Enlightenment the small I [mundane/ephemeral ego] to find association with Big I [non-mundane/ Eternal] and to make one ‘ONE’ Where only Bliss exists…finest crossover and overlapping/ anchoring into the same ONE 10//10++ Ms. Nivedita UK
