In The Shelter Of My Jewel's Eyes Poem by Josh Erys

In The Shelter Of My Jewel's Eyes

Rating: 5.0

In the shelter of my jewel's eyes,
rests eternal peace...
When in the morning,
In the shelter of my jewel's eyes
the morning sun reflects its beauty-
... And my eyes beholdeth your benevolence.
When at night,
the stars glowed in your eyes...
In the shelter of my jewel's eyes,
I fell asleep so peaceful,
away and safe from the world.
Like the little Alice
in the wonderland,
i woke in a world of possibilities.
Eyes cannot see,
Words cannot tell,
but the lot that binds our hearts,
changeth not with the changing day.
... The leaves have all gone with summer,
but its winter with you.
In your soul's spring shall i drink,
cos in the shelter of your eyes,
My heart has found a home.
A home long wished and yearned for, all
IN THE SHELTER OF MY JEWEL'S EYES.
