In The Silence Poem by Val Davis

In The Silence

In the Silence of your heart
When one's soul begins to start
To speak of Pain and Woe,
Of Loss and Sorrow...
It makes it harder to want tomorrow.

One must always search within
For the place where Hope begins.
No one else can fill that hole
We all have inside;
It is for each to find the place
Where Hope still resides.

I wish you Luck upon your Search,
Maybe you'll find it in a church.
But I must cast my nets far wider;
All my faith was left there
Beside Her...
