In This Hole Poem by alexandre arnau

In This Hole

there's a light
in the garden
there's a face
in the tree
there's a song
on the wind
and it sings
in tunes of we

in my bed
i have seen you
in my room
you have been
in my head
i regret you
in my heart
a cold sin

there's a dream
in my basement
where i buried
my soul
but i found
there is nothing
but me
in this hole

so right here
i await you
with my shovel
and gloves
and i'll dream
of a memory
where we shared
many loves

will tomorrow
bring rivers
that wash away pains?
or will i sleep here
and vanish
shadowed by
my heartstains?
