In This Soft Night Poem by Tan Pratonix

In This Soft Night

Rating: 5.0

In this soft night thread
A necklace of stars
And wear it in remembrance
Of moments that never will be.

Smiles and tears blend
In a stream of years like
Sunny-rain-sparkle; but no pain,
No sorrow, no living with,
No sharing...

That, in the truth of tomorrow,
They break and scatter whence
They come:
The fancy of some
Old-fashioned brain.

Your poem relates to the pain that I have experienced, Of moments that will never be, ouch
