In Thy Embrace Poem by Htetmyet Ne' Ye'

In Thy Embrace

Rating: 5.0

In Thy Embrace

Grass damp,
Sky grey,
Raindrops fall,
As we play,
In thy embrace.

Yellow lamps,
Moon rays,
Creatures crawl,
A child lays,
In thy embrace.

Midnight nigh,
Footsteps lithe,
A heavy torrent,
As we wait,
In thy embrace.

Breakfast time,
A Sun portrays,
A Buddhist lent,
So a child prays,
In thy embrace.

The day grows,
Trees stand,
Companions rival,
But we blend,
In thy embrace.

Love glows,
Tenderly grand,
The sentiment eternal,
A child learns,
From thy embrace.

A lovely tribute to a loving and caring mum, well articulated and nicely penned in commemoration and celebration of mothers' day. An insightful piece of poetry depicting the essence of motherhood subtly penned from the heart. A good poem indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
