In Your Shoes Poem by Craig Turner

In Your Shoes

‘’In Your Shoes’’

I saw the world through your eyes,
I took a day in your shoes,
Look like you just in disguise.

You tell me living aint easy to do,
I tell you there easy for you,
Living in your shoes.

I live in your shoes,
You live in my pocket,
Its just what you do,
I just walk on and take it.

I see empathy,
Clear as day,
But what you feel,
Isn’t up to me,
In your shoes,
Life’s my game,
We go my way,
To me its just the same.

You tell me living aint easy to do,
I tell you there easy for you,
Living in your shoes.

It comes across to me as though this is written from a counsellors/ therapists point of view, as thats a big part of a therapist skill they must have is putting themselves in that persons shoes and u say what u feel isn't up to me, thats another thing counsellors have to obtain is not puting words in the clients mouth and not telling them how must or should fee! im gonna sound like a real idiot if im wrong and this has nothing to do with a counsellor! lol... still enjoyed reading it :)
