! Independence is Coming

And then from Eeyore grey –
a pair of eyes, sharp focused
and a pair of wooden fingers
poked and probed
the leather strap.

And a Cheshire cat smirk
spread across your face
as you unbuckled the watch
and placed it
triumphantly
upon the table.

Ya dun good, my love.
Independence is just around the corner.
