which nurtures its future
on old classic characters....
Cry for a nation
whose people are continuously misled by
fanatics camouflaged as Swadeshis....
Cry for a nation
whose intelligentsia become
'paid pipers' of fascism...
Cry for a nation
whose parliament is jeopardized by
the shouting brigade....
Cry for a nation
whose rulers have just only one intention
to sell out everything...
Cry for a nation
whose rulers are all set to
uproot secularism....
Cry for a nation
whose minorities are separated from
the mainstream with 'Saffron curtains...'
Cry for a nation
whose poor and depressed become
poorer and poorer every moment....
Cry for a nation
whose rivers are not even free
to flow as they like....
Cry for a nation
whose transformation is on long strides
from democracy to theocracy...

Here lies a man - sleepless -
who fought his entire life span
to throw out those invaders!
He now witnesses their comeback
on every moment in the pretext of
Globalization, liberalization
and privatization....

In the Promised Land of Rama,
what will happen to this Sambhuka -
the Dalit saint?
Their sleuths flutter everywhere...
and the thinking minority
wander with dreams slaughtered,
waiting to be guillotined....
