Indian Ocean Poem by Suzy Jay

Indian Ocean

Sometimes when I breath
I am the Indian Ocean.
Far away and fathomless
silent and numb
under the weight
of life compressed.

There is no air
in the Indian Ocean
only blueness
like something muted
and left unsaid
or unannounced
and unheard
echoing into eternity.

I am the Indian Ocean
when my lungs are empty
a moment of sweet drowning
the inhalation nothing more
than the pull of the moon.

Unconcious of the blueness
Unconcious of everything
Unconcious of you.

Oceano Indico

A veces, cuando respiro,
soy el Oceano Indico.
muy lejano y insondable,
muda y entumecida
abajo del pesa
de la vida condensada.

No hay aire
en el Oceano Indico
solo color azul
como algo mutado
or sin dicho
o algo declarado
y sin oido.
Un eco dentro eternidad.

Soy el Oceano Indico
cuando mis pulmones
estan vacias,
un momento hundido y dulce.
El inhalacion, nada mas que
el gravidad de la luna.

Inconciente del color azul
inconsciente de todo
Inconsciente de ti.
