Indian System Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Indian System

Rating: 5.0

Indian system has deteriorated
Democracy stands unrelated
Poor are no where entertained
Richness is still maintained

Rich has nothing to show
Leaders have reasons to grow
To improve upon performance
And take no chance

People have enough reason to lose
There is no option to choose
Either of two evils is choice
Each one stands supreme with promises

Citizens still lack
Even when their interest is at stake
No one knows about large corruption
They fear bloodshed and interruption

The road shows and strength on show
People have apprehension and fear to grow
What if law and order is broken?
The faith in democracy still not shaken
