Inevitable And Relentless Poem by Marwan Daou

Inevitable And Relentless

I was wandering alone with her,
Incoming through the pure twilight,
Spectral strings of the night
Sifting the colors,
Gliding in and out and overcome.

She took my hand to my heart
And whispered into my brain
Loud fantasies famished but banned;

She lit a cigarette on my lips,
And we stared down the extended distance
Where we hardly could watch
The rocks being socked from the morning of life
By the mindless waves;

Inevitable, relentless, relentless! ! !

Eyes together,
We stroke the darkness
By a pleading tear,
The moon was missing,
The wind whirred so strange,
To dropp down our single body,
Let go her needs from my brain,
My soul could lastly rejoice,

I pondered,
I couldn’t disown this pain.

Inevitable, relentless, relentless! ! !
