Infatuation? Exaggeration. Poem by Bailey Burris

Infatuation? Exaggeration.

Rating: 2.5

You get me so easy
Just a touch of your hand
And I am queezy
How do you do it?
I am in dire need to know
The spell you’ve released
I can feel it to my toes
It’s a shock threw my body
This feeling, only I know
I don’t understand, you’re so confusing
Am I overreacting?
To all that you’re reacting.
I’m sorry
I’m not going to write cheesy lines
To find more cheesy things to rhyme
I will say the truth, and nothing more
No sapped up story that’s bound to bore
I feel very much for you
But I still don’t know what to do
Don’t know how you feel
Whats your deal?
I’ve followed the books
Cover to cover
Looks like they’ve been lying
But you’re different from the others.
I’ve never met someone like you
Every day together, I feel something new
You’re a show, a riot
You’re lovely and not quiet
You’re a rapper and a poet
You’ve got me bad
And everyone knows it.
