Infinity* Poem by Thistle Wargul

Infinity*

My tears were dried up long ago,
Melting into the midnight snow.
My frozen heart, my burning eyes,
Begging for and end to the lies.

Pelting rain, raging storm,
I await for the dawn.
Give me freezing knives,
A glass of poison.
I await, the blood-red dawn.

Life goes on, carry on,
Like a never ending song.
Heart and drums, beat as one,
Always running through my veins.
In the dark, there’s a light,
Although tiny is the spark.
Through the day, through the night,
Through infinity.

Torn away from me,
Carried by the current,
A hate-less mind,
Lost beneath the waves.
My once warm heart,
My once bright eyes,
Praying to the stars in the skies.

Life goes on,
Stay, be strong,
Like the never failing song,
Heart and drums,
Beat along,
Passion running through your veins.
In the dark,
There’s a light,
And it’s growing bright with time,
Carry on,
Stay, be strong,
Through infinity.

Keep on picking your feet up,
Singing your worn heart out.
Praying so softly,
Calling so gently,
Never give up as long as you stand.

If you keep on lifting your burdens,
The stronger you will grow.
Climbing on upwards,
You’ll never fall down,
‘Cos you’re gonna make it to infinity!
