Inhale Poem by Dimitri McDaniel

Inhale

Rating: 4.5

You inhale..
And my words..
My words are engulfed..
Stolen by your inward breathing breath..it gets caught behind your chest..your tongue..lips

-One day.
I hope to find it dancing with your heart..making beautiful music as we ourselves love out loud.. That is my dream..
That one day we step from beyond this screen and kiss in the sunlight so that everyone can see what god has seen from our birth..with love you have been..
my first..

Your words..
they make no sense..
Not because of inadequacy.. But the way they have the mind to weigh me down like anchors..
And shoot me at the same time
-up like adrenaline beyond heavens walls..
Before your lips my heart it falls..

You reawaken it with your calls.. Keep him breathing with your attention because without it..
I'll lose it..
Loose everything..
Because everything means nothing..
In this world if it doesn't have you intertwined, mixed with in
Your words they move me..they are the very reason,
my blood stays running
That I am what I am. Iam yours..

Our words..

they should disappear from our lips as we speak them
They should blend in to the surroundings let the wind catch them
and play melody as they did in our hearts once.. Our love is being echoed..
We will hear brief hymns in the distance.. Songs of love.
When we finally turn around we will notice them,
That they have all been watching.. And they will thanks us..
Because we
Through our beauty
Taught them all how to love..
