Inner Cry Poem by Nan Blackshire-Little

Inner Cry

My body is only a shell; I dwell within.
The inner me emerges from the depth of my soul.
I will only love in spirit and mind; to walk
this earth in spiritual time . . .
I have so much love and feelings within.
I want to make it surface once again.
It's like the rumbling of the sea, bursting
deep inside of me.
I want to give love to every human thing, until
the bells of heaven ring.
