Innocence Poem by gitaanjali naidu

Innocence

Rating: 5.0

The innocent smile of an infant,
a heart throb of many,
that liberates one’s heart,
from the darkness of remorse.
Smile it’s gifted with,
is happy and peaceful to mind.

The infantile speech,
communicate its love in words,
that stammer from its mouth.
Convey the desire for want of love
and tenderness.
that soothes the heart and thoughts.

The beautiful hands and fingers,
that tries to hold on,
attempts to show oneness, with
the hands of purity and chastity.
stretches out in love and embraces
with passion.

The tiny toes and podgy legs, after
many a struggle,
stands up showing the path
of victory,
never shall you stand unless you fall,
and never shall you win unless you fail.

Man mature from tyke,
but unlike what he had been,
behave enigmatic on maturing.
His success is in his demeanor,
Why does he forget it?

They're innocent but some lunatic doesn't think that way.Instead, they grilled them. That's innocence? Nice writes Gitaanjali!
