Innocuous Poem by Shemsi Elsani

Innocuous

He closed his eyes tightly
There was tears gushing
Painting his unblemished face
Heavy and hurting
Leaving a scar that would never healed, forever

His heart was bleeding inside
Draining out everything that ever there
Left him empty to the nothingness
Fallen to the darkness of disappointments
As his only lover being judge nefarious
Even if he could feel his sanctify love

He was wondering
Why would his love be so wrong?
Why would there be love when it's wrong?
Could love be ever wrong?
Or was it he that has been wrong?

He kept the pain of injustice
Punishing himself of miseries
He could never be happy without him
As they have believed of true love
When it has grown so wildly
How could they be ever wrong
When it has been innocuous all along
