Insane Asylum Poem by Vision Ghost

Insane Asylum

Rating: 5.0

Screams of all the dispossessed echoing through walls of steel
Forgotten void in the blackness hidden from the eyes that feel
Witnessed not by any sense of morality in the brutality here
Beaten, raped and scarred in the boundaries of psychotic fear

Shackled to walls as wrists; bleed from metallic grips in chains
Defecation upon floors unclaimed for so long in ever lost pains
Where the maggots crawl within wounds undressed and festered
For every abundant torture for the human mind is thus tethered

No escape from the induced drugs they pump into rotting veins
Illusion inset of insanity as nightmares of indistinguishable strains
Lost without sense of family or environment other than the dark
They close their eyes and see the same to forever leave the mark

Guards beatings night after night until unconsciousness releases
Momentarily from bruises of the much inflicted bloody creases
Electro therapies as a patient jumps in restraints from the burns
Can’t get out, can’t escape, nowhere to go from freedom yearns

Ripped from the womb and told she imagined it as a foetus dies
A bloody incarnate of such suffering left as her body now denies
The truth of this horror, where’s my baby? Where’s my baby?
Only left in straps and restraints so to bleed; praying to a deity

But in a place so dark that demons fear with no heavenly access
A brutality now in hidden chambers as many remains so to caress
With tools of torture into skin of the afflicted, praying for death
As their only release before their dying in such a silenced breath

Gagged so the surgeon could hear him begging for tenderness
As insertions throughout his body; an experiment so remorseless
Free from the legal and moral restraints of the ever free thinking
Unaware only in denial that somewhere this is actually happening

If not the nightmare of the procedure left be the demise of drugs
Conquer the solitary realm between light and agony of brutal thugs
No more a day as reality blurs so to another torturous continuum
So want to drive someone insane? Loose them in an insane asylum
