Insanity Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Insanity

I savor your nudity
As the drops of rain beat
The arched green of raw
Grass rising and prostrating
At the edge of the path strewn
With pebbles collected from
The banks of swollen river
Where once you dared to shed
Your shyness and lifted the feet
Onto the soft beam of the moon;
As the dark hairs caress your hips
You fall deeper into the gorge
Of love, passion and raw lust
And bite the black spot under my
Earlobe like a witch-possessed;
I smear your feet with the mud
Where you stood like a goddess
And let the seeds fall unchecked
To be sprouted when the season
Would be ripe and call us to
Collect the pebbles by the banks
