Insha'Allah Poem by Jon Ojala

Insha'Allah

Rating: 5.0

Do I think myself so self-important that at times
I would seek to circumvent
the physical reality
of the Will of God?
Wisdom earned thus far
on this journey
seeks, softly and gently,
to bridge the chasm
between recognition of His will
and acceptance of it,
when the child inside
crosses his arms
defiantly and declares, I want.
When passion subsides,
wisdom is there to whisper
'Not your will, but His'.
And that makes all the difference.

A beautifully written recognition of how to get the best out of life. Reading it humbles us all. Thank you Jon.
