What if,
it turns out,
you were the enemy, all along.
That all they taught you, everything they said was untrue.
What if we were supposed to get along?
What if I didn't really hate you? what if they got the stories all wrong?
something was lost in the translation? What if you created all this hatred based on a lie? It's not the word of God but in fact the twisted word of mans self interest?
What if when you meet God he stands before you with a tear in his eye and the truth in his voice?
Maybe he'll send you back until we finally get it right
