Inside

Inside

All those times I had a little hope,
An act of kindness; a positive quote.
Something to give me a reason to live,
Have burned away into infinity.

Every single wish has turned to dust,
2.4 children was never open to us.
We never had the chance to live,
So I cry alone in my misery.

I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’ve lost 25 reasons to live this life.

There was a boy, who was full of dreams,
He turned into a man who never wanted to live.
He crashed to Earth in a ball of smoke,
He couldn’t afford a gun to end this joke.

So one day he sat down with a pen and a pad,
Made a list of all the reasons why he shouldn’t be dead.
It seems 25 was the value of his life,
But every reason he had to live, turned to nothing overnight.

I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’ve lost 25 reasons to end this life.

Every reason he had to live,
Just like his life, turned into shit.
He couldn’t even find one positive thing,
So he prayed for his death and he told me to sing.

I want a tune to play me out,
The end is nigh, I have no doubt.
I’ve lived my life enough my friend,
So I’ll say goodbye this is the end…

I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’m smiling but I’m crying inside,
I’ve lost 25 reasons to end this life.

Now the boy is gone, I’m sorry to say
The man is gone, he passed away.
He couldn’t take it anymore,
He finally had the strength to leave this world.

Of this worlds theatre in which we stay,
My love like the spectator ydly sits
Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
