Inside Of Me

There is a hole inside me
where I had once kept you
Why won’t you look in my eyes
realize why I’m so blue?

This gap that is inside of me
is so empty and so unfulfilled
I am calling upon you just so
that we can once again rebuild

So that once again we can
both become one just you and me
Let this love begin
i no longer want to feel numb' we can be

All we once before were
do you remember when we were together
Or has it all become a blur
has all that we have ever been become blurry

I am really not so sure weather
I should be aware should I have to worry
Should I even be here
do you even want me to care should i feel so scurry

Is there something that I should know
is it something you are itching to tell me
Is there somebody else there
should I go’ should I just walk away and let it be

Please, please tell me
I just want to know’ was it to much or was it just not enough
Tell me the truth
is there no longer a use I can take it because nothing is to rough

I am here for you’ I am listening
I love you with all my heart I always have
all the way from the very beginning
all the way from the start’ don’t let me fall

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
