Insomina Poem by Paul McAnaney

Insomina

Sleep deprived and unable
to hide. From the dark of
night to the dawn of day
i lay awake. Is this my
punishment for some
kind of mistake?
Like an endless nightmare
without the fear i no
longer care. I just wish
for sleeps gentle release.
