Insomnia Poem by Elizabeth Walker

Insomnia

Rating: 5.0

sleepless nights, too many i've known.
this seat and i together have grown.
not by choice its not something i chose,
this is a habit id gladly lose.
but here i am pouring my emotions again
on a computer screen trying to obtain some zen.
some inner peace and a rested mind,
two things lately i cant seem to find.
im restless, anxious, and wild hearted,
i dont even know when this kind of thing started.
