Insomniac Poem by Sarah Reamey

Insomniac

Lay your head down and go to sleep;
Here after awhile you won't hear a peep.

Just count to five, and close your eyes.
Then sleep will come to you as a suprise.

Don't think about the possible monsters under your bed;
Just lay down and rest your head.

No one's waiting outside of your room;
Waiting to cause you a horrible doom.

That is not a ghost that you hear;
It's just an owl in a tree thats quite near.

No one's trying to open the door;
Thats just the creeking of the floor.

Theres no clowns under your bed;
There are only clowns in your head.

Just lay down and take a nap;
Before you cause yourself to snap.
