Instinct Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Instinct

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Cheung Shun Sang)

You’re determined to succeed
It will take more time
To slow you down

You appears genuinely unperturbed
This kind of confidence
Is exactly what’s required

If you have an urge
To try something new
Trust your instinct

(inspired by Kitaro’s Hajimari)

well said, alas my friend instinct is just another term for a cluster of emotion, lacks the logic of clear and undiluted reason! 10
