Integrity Poem by Alufa Oke Joshua

Live in an interior-cruel village
yet we're equal to law in our nation,
whatsoever goes ahead of issue must
be judged according to national value,
our value, our nation.

How can we concur to faulty reasons
given by our servant whom we sent
out to serve in our interest, we had
seen reasons why you concur to their
cowardly lust yet we believed
in our national integrity.

We really know how far you have gone
with these faulty leaders,
yet we await for your pity reasons
for not giving us our best.
