RoseAnn V. Shawiak (October 6,1950 / New Jersey)
Landscapes covering interior plains,
filling me with hopes of tomorrow.
Giving a reprieve from the sadness
that incessantly envelopes me every day.
Silent passions held in check, focusing
all of subconsciousness into a funnel,
filtering it into ideas, forming
themselves in compartments of poetry.
