Internal Inferno Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Internal Inferno

You have broken all my trust
In the muck my face was thrust
Muddy vision, clouds my heart
You were first love, will be my last

Crowding memories of our past
Muddled up mangled days fly fast
Terms of endearment tear at my heart
So much love and now we will part

In one gust the straws got strewn
One by one I gather my home
But the spirit that stuck all it's parts
Vanished away, no way to recast.

Just a heap of straw I see
Conflagration
I feel the heat
