Just thinking about you
Makes my heart ache
Wanting to talk to you
How much courage will it take?

I call you, so excited
Your cute voice fills my ears
Wanting to be with you
Despite all my fears

You could be anyone,
You could be overweight
If we were to meet in real life
You might forget the date

But I'm content, sitting here
Staring at a screen
Pretending that this virtual world
Has much more than it seems.
