ANJALI KAKATI

INTEZAR

Intezar mei tumhare,
Umar nikal rahi..
Kaha tha kisi ne,
Miloge yahi..
Bachpan se aadhed ho chale hai,
Khade khade yahi...

Koi tasveer nahi hai,
Ki pehchan lenge..
Koi naam pata bhi nahi,
Ki jhat jaan lenge...
Nahi jaante
Kad kathi kaisi hogi...
Bologe, toh juban koun si hogi...

Tumhare bhram me
anjani raho par
meelo dur tak
Ajnabiyon saang chale ...
Par voh tum nahi the,
So har baar lout kar,
Khade milte hai yahi...

Jante hai,
Miloge kabhi na kabhi,
Yahi pe kahi...

Par waqt beetta ja raha hai,
Aur sabr ghat ta ja raha hai...
Intezar me tumhare
Rab ki baton se,
Dil uthat ta ja raha hai..
Kaha tha use ne
Miloge yahi..

Ki manzeelon ka safar baki hai,
Aur baki hai aatma se parmatma ka Milan..
Intezar me tumhare
Umar nikal rahi,
Bachpan se aadhed ho chale hai,
Jaldi karo...

Humse milo na yahi...

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
