I catch myself dreaming while I hear
A sudden noise that makes me
Come to my senses, fear,
Of all the things that I see,

What an annoying sound, I feel
It tries to make me swap,
My dreams for what is real…
What a mistake to stop!

I want my dream again,
But I can’t bring it back,
I struggle, but in vain,
I hear…ticktack, ticktack.

Oh shut up, you’re a trader,
A small, bad and silly clock,
You’ve turned into an invader,
From now on the time needs to stop.
