Inutile Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Inutile

Ask me, if you will -
About the governments that rule
Masked well but so inutile
All crooks and greedy fools!

Devoid of sterling character
These clowns that live a lie-
May face the people's anger
But History repeats Her cry.

The absence of such wisdom
Stems from the empty souls
Robed in their vain religion
That fails to make them whole.

No inward voice to warn
No fear of God inside
No conscience in them burns
They mock
They laugh
They hide.
