Irrational Love Poem by MaxiR Liberation

Irrational Love

Rating: 2.5

Pounding against the walls of the heart.
Screaming, punching, kicking.

I want you.
Yet, I have never met you.
That’s just sad.
Looking out into space,
I see your pictures.
I hear your voice.
I read your words.
I fell for the boy who could feel for me without reason.
This isn’t love, I scream.
It’s infatuation.
Irrational infatuation.
That hurts my heart.

Are you really special to me?
Or are you just like every other interesting man?
I don’t know anymore.
Do I want you?
Do I need you?
What are you to me?

Tell me.
Irrational love,
Please, just tell me.
Are you just as infatuated as I am?
