Just when I thought
That your love was heaven sent,
You left me out in the cold
And in my heart you left a dent.

I was left with mixed emotions
Lost in limbo land,
Not knowing how you feel about me
And not knowing where I stand.


What if anything you felt for me
You never really explained,
If only you could have told me
Then I wouldn't feel so pained.

Because I was under the impression
That there may have been something there,
One way or the other
Either you loved me or you didn't care.

I thought that we may be made for each other
I thought together we belong,
But now I'm left not knowing
If I got it all those vibes so wrong.

Waiting and hoping
That I may just see a sign,
Only then will I know if it is over
Or that you really want to be mine.
