Is This Schizophrenia? Poem by Chuy Amante

Is This Schizophrenia?

Rating: 5.0

once upon a time
there was a man
who stayed busy
all day long...
but,
night fell and so did
all the earthly charades.
walls tumbled, mountains
fell into the sea,
and
all was made plane, plain in fact
in peacefulness the warm
syrup of deluded earthlife
flows out the posterior end
and new light fills the inner
being
good
being
good
rediscovering
what is on the other side
of the ice wall
shangri la
milk and honey
(and chocolate)
timelessly
flowing
inward
upward
a multiplicity of dimensions
as one
nothing in the future
no past
just
love
now
nothing more

'they' say Dopamine
will help this condition
I say,
'Dope? that's mean'

Amazing poem with multi-layered perception of a variety of situations in life. Happy normal life. walls tumbled, mountains / fell into the sea / rediscovering / what is on the other side / of the ice wall /...a multiplicity of dimensions
