The nights are longer
The cold winds stronger
Days - a temporary fuss
Is winter already upon us?
In mercantile meander life seeps
Asunder all, humdrum creeps
This appearance, just a fragile truss?
Is winter already upon us?
The warmth of us like memory fades
The best of us, our life evades
A blurry existence, no need for focus
Is winter already upon us?
