Isabella Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Isabella

I am like a thousand years in your eyes today because,
You left me yesterday and i am now lonely;
But, who can love and will not meet death?

Isabella!
Who can rescue himself or, herself from death?
So be it when, you are gone forever from my sight.

May it be so like the grass which grows up!
For, you once manisfested your sweet love to me;
And, i saw your beauty,
But, you left me yesterday and i am now alone.
