Island Girl Poem by jermaine turner

Island Girl

Is that a togan girl I seek
Walking down the beach
Face so beautiful
Every animal in the wilderness
Wants to sing
Is that your song that they playing
Could you move to the rhythm
Of this beat
I see you in position ready
For some one to sweep you off your feet
On the dance floor as everything that
Surrounds you stop and a heart beat
Slow motion as you move your hips
I need a island girl that moves like this

Island girl

I heard about you many miles a way
I want to ask you something
Is it safe for me to say
They say when you kiss some one
It has to be the right time
When the sky is dark and the stars
Set right bye the moon
Those big brown eyes
Looking down across the way
Eye to eye contact
Standing right face to face
A gentle kiss from your lips
You tease with a little taste
Wake up feeling if this were real
I wake up so mysterious
I can still feel that kiss
Damn why it had to be a dream
Why it had to be like this

Island girl
