It Bowed To Me Poem by Vera Sidhwa

It Bowed To Me

This colorfully dressed,
This perfumed,
Imagination
Lead me to believe.

That it was real.
That this dream was not sealed,
But open for the world
To see and feel.

Her multi-layered garb,
Fluttered in the sun.
From a dream like that,
No one would run.

Please stay and stay.
You colorfully dressed
And perfumed
Flower.

Bestowed gifts of beauty,
That you on me shower.

Then in the sun sprinkled breeze,
Her stem bent towards me.
She bowed to me.

And the sun witnessed her flowery bow.
