It Could Have Been - Poem by Kay Tee

Now is when you lead my heart to places far away, fool me with destructive words that mean too much to say. Now is when I look at you and hold back all my fears, tell you that I need you now, and lied all these passed years. Now is when you'll look straight at me with a disappointed face, feel the rhythm of my breath, pounding like I'm in a race. Now is when you tell me that it's just too little and too late. 'we could have been happy, you could of had it all, it could have been so great..'
